This place's best years are behind it, it is generally a bit worn and battered and needs more than a coat of paint. However - it serves the purpose of an oversight stop - it's price reflects the fact that it doesn't have a feelgood factor more

Stayed for one night and managed to get two rooms for £19 each promotional price. What a bargain! Rooms exactly as expected for a travelodge - basic but roomy, clean and comfortable. stayed here one night was very pleased with everything the room was plain, but clean,nice and spacious plenty of hangers for clothes, bed comfortable and very quiet despite being at a service station. As others have stated this is a chain hotel/ motel where you get what you pay for. We just stayed here for one night after arriving very late by ferry. Unfortunately there was only a smoking room available but this had been advised to us when booking, so we were prepared. The price of the room was a bit much but the bed was comfy. Rooms could be decorated better to take away some of the plainess. We had a good one night stay. more
