Having just enjoyed my second visit to Grand hotel in Swansea in the last year, I would like to advise anyone planning a trip to those parts and deciding on accomodation not to look any further than the Grand hotel. The Grand is located oposite the railway station and within a short stroll from the centre of Swansea. It posseses... more

Stayed for 3 nights to attend a work conference at the university. The room was on the small side but comfortable. Bathroom was clean with a good shower. Hotel opposite the station and there are two pay and display car parks close by. The staff were friendly. We didn't eat in the restaurant but breakfast was o.k. more

I stayed in The Penthouse suite here with my boyfriend to celebrate my graduation. I can honestly say that this room was everything it promised to be. We had a great time in the spa and gym, the food was excellent and the breakfast divie! Service was polite and friendly. We ordered breakfast to our room at an extra charge... more

I chose this hotel based on its location next to the train station and thought it would make travel by public - or should that be pubic? - transport easier whilst visiting on business. The room was an executive on the upper floor and was well equipped and fairlly spacious. My first negative experience was in the dining room, very... more

The hotel itself is fine and is very convenient for the railway station. The rooms are quite comfortable and well appointed but on the small side. The restaurant was very poor. The menu was very limited and the quality of the food was average at best. . Despite the limited menu the waiter did not have a clue what he... more

If your tired I don't recommend staying here. The rooms have door closures that are really noisy and rattle when other doors open and close. The room was clean, breakfast good but more attention to detail is required. more

Take the train to the Grand, Swansea - you'll never find it in a car! The powers that be have taken out all the roundabouts in the city centre to make way for bendy-buses - our sat-nav was very confused - and it was very, very difficult to find the Grand in the rush-hour. There's no carpark - you have... more

No real complaints about the hote, the staff seemed a little clueless but it had very recently opened and most seemed to be training so probably would be harsh to hold this against them. The room was spacious, and clean, and food also good. The only downside is the location; situated at the top end of the High Street right... more

I booked this hotel direct and I booked the best room they had for my partners birthday. The room was fantastic, it was on the top floor with a lovely comfy bed, flat screen TV. The bathroom was very big it had a shower large enough for two people and a Jacuzzi bath. There were also fresh flowers on the... more
