Being an ex-local of the area I wanted my husband and son to experience waking up to the wonderful view that is Rhosilli and the Worms Head. Friends who are hotelliers in the area had said it had a poor reputation, but undeterred I insisted on staying for one night. The room - family suite - was not clean, smelt... more

Our aim was to walk to the end of the Worm and so this was the ideal location. Having read the reviews we were not expecting much but as the location was perfect for us we booked the hotel. The staff were delightful and couldn't be more helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious... more

We visted for a weekend. The location is superb perched on a hill overlooking 2 or 3 miles of the widest longest sandy beach I've seen anywhere. This is what makes the Gower Coast such a magnet for tourists. The rooms are very clean and reasonably comfortable. They're quite small although I must say the view was fabulous. Bathroom facilities... more

Thank you for your review for your postive comments and constructive criticisms. Unfortunately due to our particular location we do not have the space to provide private car parking for our guests (the car park opposite is privately owned through a separate entity). As a family run private business, we implement a policy of annual continuous improvement and we have...

Despite reading the bad reviews on internet, we nevertheless decided to book a room in this hôtel. Its a mercy that we took this decision! Everything was good: the welcoming from the hosts, the rooms (very clean, wide, with fantastic sea views), the breakfast room, the breakfeast itself and finally the landsape, properly stunning. The only point a little bit... more

Spent 3 days here at the end of September. The hosts Julian and Veronica Short were pleasant, welcoming, polite, professional and very helpful. The staff were courteous and made you feel so welcome. Fabulous views from the rooms and the view from the dining restaurant of the welsh coastline was stunning. The meals were lovely, many homemade and the welsh... more

Having read some of the reviews I felt compelled to comment. This is a privately run hotel and over the years the owners have invested steadily in it and continue to do so. Given its location where the outside takes a battering from the weather and the foot fall internally it will always be an ongoing project. It is not... more

Don't be fooled by the nice and friendly reception. We arrived in Rhosilli, however all of the B&B's were full, so we called into The Worm Hotel. We were greated by a friendly receptionist and all seemed ok. We went straight onto the beach and didn't realise until the evening how tired the hotel actually was. The beds were uncomfortable,... more

We did not stay at the hotel but went for a meal after having an amazing boat ride with the Gower adventures from Port Eynon. We sat inside the views are amazing and the place was fairly clean. The service presenting the meals was excellent being very quick, however we were left very much to our own devices and only... more

Nice big room with a fantastic view. Shame about there being no shower, poor mattress and terrible TV. Staff were friendly once youve cracked the language barrier, nice breakfast and reasanable meals at fair prices. Pity they ran out of ale twice in three days, but overall enjoyed our stay. more

After considering cancelling our visit due to the negative reviews we had read, we were very pleasantly surprised. Although I have to agree that, in some places, the decor is a little tired and some of the bathrooms are in need of updating; we found our room very comfortable. All staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was... more
