We recently stayed at the Beachcomber for 1 night .Thewelcome we had when we arrived was pleasing. The friendly welcome and homely atmosphere was very rewarding to our stay. The room was clean and presentable and the view was beautiful. The guesthouse is suitably located on the seafront for the shops and amenities.I would certainly return to this guesthouse in the future.VERY PLEASED... more

After failing to find accommodation in Rhossili or Mumbles, i ended up on Oystermouth Rd in Swansea and chose this guesthouse because it looked cleaner than a lot of the others in that row and also offered free wireless access. The room was clean, the bed comfortable , and it cost a lot less than any other B&B I'd come... more

We found the owners very helpful and knowledgable about what was available locally, We were struck by the way they were always pleasant in their manner towards us. I must also add that it was one of the cleanest hotels that I have come across for some time. more

Never again

Hotel very, very basic. Richard was very nice but his wife was very ignorant which my colleagues & I found a bit odd. The wife's attitude & cheap, dated rooms put us right off. Will seek better next time more

We enjoy B&B accommodation because it feels like 'home'. but In this instance it was perhaps a little too much like a home. The place was full of what appeared to be personal possessions and an awful lot... more

This B&B is located right across from the sea on Oystermouth Road, about 10 - 15 mins walk from the bus station in Swansea. The rooms are small but cosy, and the breakfast is traditional Welsh, complete with fried bread. Although Oystermouth Road has a lot of traffic, the windows really blocked out the sound, and we did sleep well.... more

Booked this place with the very pleasant tourist board in Swansea, Wales. It is a guest house in a row of other guest houses/hotels. The staff were very pleasnat but the place was not. We were 2 adults in a family room-it was tiny and really only suitable for one person. The hygiene was poor with old dirty carpets, The... more
