I haven't stayed here for a number of years, but couldn't believe there is now no longer a swimming pool! Shame as the product is nice, though expensive. Place looks a little shoddy & tired - in need of a facelift. Room was OK but mattress very uncomfortable. My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a night alone in the 5* Hilton - we would have been better booking into the Days Inn! We were given a room with a view of the back of the Waterfront Hall, no view of river as requested. The bath had no hand rail for assisting disabled in getting out.... more
