Our room was large - plenty of windows, light, and clean. The house is on a quiet street, though you can hear through the walls. There was a slightly musty smell in the room, which we got used to - the bedding was fresh and changed daily, so I think it's more to do with the size and age of... more

Shabby is the best word to describe the house. There is scuffed or peeling paint, torn curtains, stained carpet, threadbare linen, and an overall musty smell. The Bienvenue is great! The manageress is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious and the food is lovely! It is also very close to Queen's and other attractions. All for £38 a night or less if sharing! more

Two weeks ago I contacted the Bienvenue Guesthouse by email to check the price and cost of booking a double room for sole occupancy for a night's stay in November. The Manageress was extremely helpful and quoted me a great rate. I telephoned the hotel a fortnight prir to my arrival in Belfast to make the booking for Monday 17th... more
