After reading great reviews of Tara Lodge, we found it not only met our expectations but went beyond. A really nice big room. And the Nespresso machine was a treat. The staff is fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Ricky is a gem. He greeted us when we arrived, helped us find a place to eat and recommended things to see.... More

Tara Lodge hotel Belfast is a lovely hotel, very convenient place to stay, very central, easy access to all the main areas of interest. Also very close to the city centre. Clean comfortable hotel, would stay here again if visiting Belfast, would recommend it.

Do not be misled by TaraLodge's modest exterior look. This hotel has very welcoming , spacious, and well kept rooms with very comfortable beds. Its location is excellent; near the university, the botanic gardens and the botanic ave. train station. The staff are affable, welcoming and always willing and on hand to help you. Our room had an iron with... More

This is a fairly new hotel with an excellent location near the university and botanic gardens. The rooms are nice and large. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. You have good choices for breakfast. There are excellent restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We had a delicious dinner at Scalinis which is just up on Botanic. We recommend seeing the... More

Don't be misled by dull exterior, a clean, welcoming, comfortable (great mattress), well equipped (nespresso machine apart from the usual kettle, iPhone dock, dvd etc) hotel in the University quarter, near city centre. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Will definitely return if in Belfast again.

Driving in we were a little worried as the neighborhood seemed far and too far away from any activity. Not so.... Lively college campus life lit up at night and there were a bunch of great restaurants nearby. The hotel was smart, ecofreindly and well appointed. Unfortunately, wound up in the handicap room with low set features that made it... More

I first stayed her 5 or 6 years ago, and the place is still great. It's within easy walking distance of the city centre, and right by a train station. The rooms are really clean and the beds are totally comfortable. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Plus they serve the best cooked breakfast I have ever eaten in... More

Treated my husband to surprise weekend for Special birthday. We were both delighted with the hotel and the service. An add-on of a taxi tour was a great experience and recommended. Lively area with lots to see and do. Breakfast very tasty with lots of choice.

Booked in over night for a surprise for my wifes birthday. There was a lot of hotels in Belfast I could have choosen from Trip Adivisor but this one always seems to be No1 and it was more resonably priced. I was able to park my car in secured parking place behind the hotel, and check in was quick. Room... More
