A friend and I stayed for one night at Tara Lodge. We had a twin bedroom. The room was furnished well and looked luxurious when we walked in. We found the beds not as comfy as they looked - and a hint for the owners - buy bigger sheets!! The people were great, full of info about the area and... more

I have recently returned from a 2 night stay in the Tara Lodge with my best friend, we went to Belfast to see Westlife concert at the Odyssey Arena. We arrived around 10 on Sunday morning, our room was not available as check out for the previous guests was not until 12 noon, this was not a problem as the... more

This is a great place - very nicely decorated rooms, with stylish bathrooms; comfy bed, good shower, nice free products; and flat-screen tvs with freeview. The staff were friendly and helpful (they organised an early check in for us as we had a wedding to go to) and the breakfasts are great too. It's located in a great area, very... more

One of those places you would never find without tripadvisor, the street it is on is a bit of an eyesore, but the hotel is very well presented and kept spotlessly clean as are the rooms. There is parking at the rear, rooms are a good size with lovely large comfy bed, quality bathroom and toiletries. Breakfast was superb and... more

I would recommend the Tara Lodge. It’s not in the best area, but they had off road parking, and it was only £3 in a taxi to the centre, so it’s close enough to walk though I probably wouldn’t. It’s next to a train line, which you cant see from the front, but it didn’t keep me awake so I... more

My friend and I recently stayed in Tara Lodge and all I can say was " Fantastic". I booked it on the recommendation of Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. We arrived at midday with the intention of leaving our luggage to return later to check in but we were offered coffee and asked to wait a short while and our... more

For a two day business trip to Belfast I wanted to find some affordable but comfortable accommmodation. The company budget dictates that a Travelodge type hotel and cost is what we shoudl be aiming for, but having tired of Travelodge I was looking for somewhere else. Tara Lodge is set in the most unassumign side street, just off Botanic Avenue... more
