On our arrival when the receiptonist found out we came from Hungary she started to share her views about hungarian music - wasn't very nice to hear that she was annoyed by our culture's music and even is she had this opinion i don't know why she has to share it with us. That's for a start. After being in... more

This perfectly situated, basic hotel suited our needs in Belfast nicely. About two blocks from the Great Victoria Bus and Rail Station, we never had far to go for our transit connections. There are a number of shopping and dining options in the neighborhood, including the famous Crown Pub – a beautiful place for a pint. The bed was comfortable... more

Disappointed with price and condition of room. All handles on windows in room 208 were loose. Bathroom was not clean and lacked extra items e.g samples of shampoo and shower gel only a small sample of soap available. Although noisey it was not a problem as the location is very convenient. more

Helpful staff at front desk but there it ends! We were given key to room 407...it stank of cigarettes...like being inside an ashtray. Very apologetic girl at reception gave us key to room 608...much better so we accepted and settled in. Went out for the evening and on our return when I tried to flush the toilet, the toilet handle... more

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to write your review. I was saddened to read your comments. Travelodge Belfast is a complete non smoking hotel & has been for the past year. In the past we have found guests have a sneaky smoke in a room & we have taking action. Under no circumstances do we allow smoking in...

The price is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The service was hit and miss sometimes the staff were rude other times they were great! No consistency/ The rooms were old and run down and i had to keep asking for more coffee etc. The rooms were also not made up everyday which was annoying. The walls... more

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to write your review about our hotel. We can never improve unless we get feedback from our guests. I’ve showed your comments to all members of staff at our meeting & have sent our full reception team on customer services training. I’ve also discussed room standards with the head housekeeper and I...

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to write your review. Yes, our hotel is located in the heart of Belfast City – we have all the busy bars, restaurants & shopping centers on our doorstep. It has its advantages & disadvantages. It’s sometimes difficult to avoid such noises even with some level of soundproofing. We will review this situation...

Staff at reception were not very welcoming upon check in and especially when checking out! It was a case of "leave your keys there" in a tone that nearly suggested that i was an inconvenience to the staff. There was no "how was your stay?" or any general welcoming or thanks for business. However, staying overnight was nightmare as 3 clock... more
