Over the last 8 months I have had the distinct pleasure of staying at the park Avenue Hotel. The purpose of my trips was business. The accomodations have been very clean and well taken care of. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The one thing that stands out in this hotel is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. more

We were booked in a s part of a large group. Despite being told we had booked a family room for four and a room for three at set prices, the hotel saw fit to change this arrangement to 2 doubles and a room for three at rates they chose on the day. The family were split into 2 rooms... more

On what must have been the busiest weekend in Belfast - football, McFly concert and a car rally, I ended up paying £400 for three nights at the Park Avenue. The public areas are attractive, with a modern decor, and the friendliness of the staff and the good breakfast, did much to lift my spirits. I loathed returning to my... more

As others state, it is a little bit off beaten track in east Belfast but we have used it as a base to visit our relatives for a number of years now and also to visit friends in Helens Bay so it is a perfect base for us. It is a well designed hotel with some views overlooking bay side... more

Stayed for two nights whilst taking part in a table football tournament held in one of the hotels conference rooms. Even though they had simultaneous wedding receptions on the Saturday the staff could not do any more to help us, nothing was too much trouble. The bar was absolutely fantastic with Warsteiner on tap at only £3 a pint. The... more

I booked a room here as most other hotels in Belfast were booked up. I paid £99 for B&B and I'm glad that I can charge it back to the company as I would be furious if I had to pay out of my own pocket. At first I thought the hotel was quite nice, I had a meal in... more

Our party of nine thoroughly enjoyed a memorable and welcome weekend break at the Park Avenue. It's just 10 minutes by taxi from the centre of the city and very handily placed for visiting the lovely County Down Coast, Ulster Folk Museum etc. Service was effortlessly friendly and helpful in a proper, none-of-your nonsense Belfast way, food both plentiful and... more

Stayed here recently for a long weekend visiting Ireland. This hotel is about 10 minutes taxi ride/50 minute walk into the Centre. Its near George Best City Airport (so nowhere near the International Airport, being the other side of the city centre). The hotel has a nice lobby area, the breakfasting restaurant is also pleasant. Our room was a good... more

Stayed here for two nights in August with my girlfriend. We were attending a wedding at the Culloden Hotel and by staying here we saved about a hundred pounds!!! Very basic hotel...no frills!!! We weren't in the hotel that much...so suited our purpose!!!! Breakfast was like any other hotel...select your cornflakes, fruit juices and fruit from a table...hot grub you... more

We found this hotel basically fine except for the restaurant staff who seemed to regard us as a nuisance for being there. Getting their attention was difficult and when we did it was "all a bit too much trouble". One of our party complained her meat was tough at dinner and the waitress just nodded pleasantly and did nothing about... more
