Dukes is in a perfect location for visiting Belfast, near to the University, lovely places to eat and a quick stroll to most of what Belfast City has to offer. The rooms were very comfortable - large, comfy bed, good linen, excellent bath and shower, spotlessly clean. However, it was the staff that quite simply shone! They have raised the... more

On arrival the receptionist was friendly and helpful. She advised that we could park in front of the hotel for free (however streets nearby were payparking). We had no hesitations about parking here as the area seemed nice and quiet. Checkin was quick and simple. We booked through booking.com for £80 B&B, however notice in hotel showed much higher prices.... more

Dukes at Queens is a great place- the rooms are recently renovated and nice, the location is perfect and the staff are incredibly friendly. The area around Queens is a really good place for dining/ drinking/ hanging out at cool quirky places. This was my second time staying at Dukes at Queens and it was fantastic. If you are looking... more

This hotel is Belfast's best kept secret and the staff are sweethearts. It has a log burning open fire in the restaurant in full view of the customers and a seating area in front of the oven. Marco the pizza chef was cooking pizzas for the kids in front of him and they were loving it. The rooms in the... more

My mum and I stayed at the hotel for her 75th birthday treat and a treat it certainly was! As I live in Belfast I know the hotel very well and over the years have dined there so the makeover is brilliant and the staff excellent. The food was delicious and Peter and Marquerite were excellent and very attentive. On... more

Booked in on the Monday and Reine (Receptionist) accommodated us with an early check-in. Beautifully decorated hotel, newly furbished with Queens University around the corner. Free wifi and free parking on the street (a bit tricky at times but not impossible). The staff I met from reception to housekeeping were very courteous and chatty and went out of their way... more

A very good hotel located adjacent to Queen's University and Botanic Gardens. Close to town and railway station (both 15 minutes walk) the room and bed are very comfortable and all very well managed. However the breakfast is not too good if you like the meal to be presented at table in one smooth service (it is a combo affair... more
