Stayed here on two occassions for four nights, had a 'superior' room, comfortable and spacious but tea/coffee was sparse (one cup each) Staff were friendly and helpful but the quality of evening food was poor. Would use it again as it's the only hotel near Lisburn but would eat elsewhere. more

I stayed at the Beechlawn House Hotel as I was over on business for a few days. I arrived and did find it slightly strange that the reception desk is in the middle of the eating area but was warmly welcomed by the receptionist. I was quickly checked in and went up to my room which was a superior bedroom.... more

Stayed in a 'family room' above function hall, that night music from wedding party until 2am, not pleasant, no sleep, please make sure if staying there, which part of hotel your room is in if wanting decent sleep. more

I stayed at this hotel with my husband, our 4 month old baby and my Mother in Law in August 2008. From getting into the hotel, our early check in that we had asked for (8am) was absolutely no problem at all. I was really impressed that the room was all ready for us at no extra cost. The reception... more

Arrive at this hotel on a busy evening, and the guest will experience what it is like to check-in in the middle of a restaurant. Return later in the evening, and the guest will be met (not welcomed) by 'security staff' - indicative of the hotel's popularity as a venue for the sort of functions which are not always compatible... more

Where to start. Well first off, booked this hotel as it had all I was looking for in the one place, a bed, a bar, food and WiFi access. Checked in here on Tuesday, for 3 nights, as it was convenient to where I was working, just a 10-15 minute drive to Lisburn, morning and evening. Very friendly staff and... more

Alas, the 'lavish refurbishment' at the hotel must have been carried out behind the scenes. The room for our 2-night stay was dingy, with the classic cigarette burns in the bedclothes and stale smell. A noisy, unstopped party went on up and down the corridor all night, keeping us awake throught the small hours; no staff intervened. When we came... more
