This was the only B&B in Belfast that accepted vouchers. When we arrived we were received y the owners children. They did not have record of a reservation of one of our party even though all the reservations were made at the same time. the bedrooms were comfortable with a fabulous view but the shower was awkward as there was... My wife and I were starting the 2nd leg of of our two week trip to Scotland and Ireland. After catching the ferry to Belfast we arrived at The Somerton House and were met by the gracious host and owner, Mannix McAlister. He showed us to our room and gave us advice on places to eat that night. He nailed... More

Not only were our rooms nice and clean, but our host went out of his way to find us the perfect place to get a bite to eat near a pub scheduled to have a band playing Irish music. This was on a Sunday when our options were more limited. While a good room makes our travel comfortable, it's the... More

We stayed 4 nights at this B and B and it was in a very convenient location. About 2 miles to Belfast Castle and about 4 miles to downtown Belfast, in which you could catch a bus about a block away. House is in a very quite neighborhood close to the Lansdowne hotel if you want to grab some dinner.... More

We chose this B&B mainly because it is located close to where the friend we were visiting lives and because it had good reviews on this site. We were not disappointed. We had agreed that as 3 40something women travelling for a short weekend we were happy to accept a room with a double bed and a single bed, as... More

Very nice place to stay - older house in a quiet neighborhood. The house is full of antiques and kept up well. The owners were very nice (including the very nice young man that I assume is the grandson) and breakfast was lovely. Only a short drive from downtown, but a world away from the city hustle and bustle. Would... More

Set in a suburban street near Antrim Road. Quiet area, pleasant good-sized room, good breakfast, good access to road network and, bus routes. Free Internet access. 5 mins drive from ferry terminals. About 10 mins from City Airport. Limited parking but on-street available - a bit narrow for big vehicles. I would certainly stay again. More
