Despite arriving 6 hours earlier than indicated Roger welcomed us with tea and biscuits and helped us plan the day's activities, kindly calling a cab for the black taxi tour. When we returned our cases were in our room. Room 3 at the top with a bay window lacks for nothing. It was a joy to return from a day... More

This is a somewhat old-fashioned B&B - and this is what I like about it. Old -fashion charm but all mod cons included. Most importantly -old fashion hospitality and attention - Roger - the owner - was at hand to advise on the city and the local places to eat; to book a taxi etc etc.And to greet you with... More

We stayed here for a short break visiting Belfast and the Titanic exhibition. Although this B&B was a little way out of Belfast, this was no great drama; the personalised care and hospitality more than made up for the short taxi ride into the city. (You could walk it, this would take 20-30 mins). A very special reception from our... More

Room with plenty of character, friendly landlady, quality bed linen and lots of interesting breakfast options. Within walking distance of ormeau park, a nice riverside walk and it is possible to walk into the city centre from here.

I Stayed here recently for three nights. This is a really excellent b&b easy parking and easy to find . Very central and secure in my opinion & attracts a certain style of person .. It's not No 1 on Trip Advisir for nothing ! The rooms are nicely done and everything is spotless. Very quiet night sleep and the food... More

It's very easy to see how the Ravenhill is the #1 B&B in Belfast. We stayed 2 nights in Belfast to see the city and the Antrim Coast, and we enjoyed our stay. Roger greeted us, invited us to coffee or tea, but we were so tired, we opted for some down-time in our room. Roger was so welcoming and... More

This is a lovely place to stay. There is something very solid and reassuring about it. It is real, not made to a formula like chain hotels. The furniture is solid wood, not veneered, and the bedroom doors close with a satisfying clunk. There is an old fashioned Roberts radio beside the bed which gives a warm rounded sound. As... More

Olive is a very nice lady and made our stay as comfortable as possible. Vey nice and tidy room and also very good and diverse breakfast. Anytime we go back to Belfast we would choose the Ravenhill guesthouse again.

I stayed here two nights in March with my daughter on a quick trip over from Newcastle. Unfortunately had awful weather but Ravenhill was a lovely retreat. Roger was the perfect host - very helpful and welcoming organising trips and taxis on our behalf. We had a lovely room with a big bay window which was very cosy, clean and... More

We stayed for one night whilst we stayed over in Belfast and we could not fault the place. From the moment we arrived the owner Olive warmly welcomed and looked after us. After we had unpacked we relaxed in the lounge with some freshly made coffee done so by Olive and we chatted about our plans during our visit. Olive... More
