Can't fault the room, the breakfast, location, or decor. All I can say is don't stay in Room 109. If you decide to stay at this hotel and they offer you this room say no unless you have long-term insomnia. The bar is directly below and will play Brown Eyed Girl at full volume until 1.30am. Then at 6am, the... more

After some searching for where to go out in Belfast for New Year's eve as 40yr old tourists from Manchester we ended up here. Mixed age group Stylish bar area- modern, cocktails £3.95 2 piece guitar guys playing. Downstairs is nightclub. was £5 to get in including glass of champagne which I thought was a bargain compared to prices in... more

Stayed in the Madison for 3 nights while checking out Belfast. The hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk from the city centre and that is a bit too far. The room was very clean and looks nice, the room was a bit on the small side and without any sort of view at all. The staff was not really intrested... more

Myself and my partner stayed in this hotel after Christmas. I had read the reviews on this site before booking and thought it sounded like an ideal place to stay for 2 nights. We arrived and came to the first bad point we had with the hotel. We had been asked to pay on arrival(which is unusual), so my partner... more

I have stayed here several times. In my view the hotel is over-priced - and you have to check closely your bill to make sure it is right! The rooms are modern and breakfast is excellent. Some rooms are very noisy. The location is great for bars, although the area lacks a decent restaurant. more

Stayed a few nights in June this year. Very friendly reception. Room was clean if euro-utilitarian in design. Fourth floor. Generally quiet except when local University crowd was exiting the night club at 3:30. Loved the area. Botanic Gardens and high-brow theater are but a minute's walk away. Good / popular bar, ok food in dining area. Lots of good... more

Me and a gang of my friends went to this hotel on a hen weekend and had a fabulous time. We are really glad we stayed at this hotel and are recommending it to our friends and thinking of going back for another visit. The hotel has obviously had a massive recent refurb. The outside of the hotel is an... more

I have stayed in Madison's a few times, the hotel has just undergone a massive refurb and looks amazing! Staff are the best I've ever come across and I've never had a reason to complain. Definately THE place to stay in Belfast. 10/10 more

Bar is good, location is good, the receptionist was very good, breakfast was good. It was all let down by a scruffy room, with old damp stains on the wall, a mouldy shower curtain and cheap, slightly battered furniture. We asked to move, but they had no free rooms, so we left after one night instead of two. Not a... more

What can I say - this has got to be one of the best hotels I have ever been in. Accomodation is great, and the girls always look after you! Breakfast is something else and I highly recommend their cocktails. A bit out of the town centre, but it's not too noisy, and there are loads of eateries close by... more
