I stayed here in April of this year and I must say I wasnt expecting much for the price (£30 standard) however I was plesantly surprised. The staff were more than helpful with my queries, they went out of their way to make my stay a plesant one. Clean sheets, clean towels, old but cosy room, cooked breakfast and made feel... more

i had a lovely stay. old building full of character, really nice staff, very good breakfast. the manager told me that they are going to refurbish some time in autumn. i definitely recommend that place, very easy to get to the botanic gardens, the uni and the city centre with all the pubs, restaurants and shops. they also gave me... more

I would not recommend Botanic Lodge to anyone. The place is old, dirty and in a very poor condition. The girl that helped us seemed nice, but wasn't very interested. The room was tiny, all the closests were crooked, it smelled very stuffy and I had to walk a long way to the nearest toilet in the hallway. I did'nt... more

This is absolutely true, no need to embelish -We usually research where we stay but on this occasion went along with a recommendation from a local. We now know that was only because it was the closest cheap (at £45 a night) B&B to where we neeeded to be that night. It was certainly not worth half that amount. Five... more

Botanic Lodge is old and therefore there are evident maintenance problems and it is not spotlessly or sparkling clean. The room I stayed, an ensuite double room was small but the toilet was good. The shower had a good stream of hot and cold water. The staff is polite and friendly and the breakfast is average. The good thing about... more

Good, clean. Staff really nice. Some rooms noisy on Botanic Avenue, but good location has some bad points sometimes. Not many en suites, but I was happy enough to share the clean bathrooms. Much better than previous owners from 2006. Old, but nice. Lovely Breakfast. more

Myself and my wife have travelled a lot, stayed in a large variety of accomodation of differing standards. This place is without doubt the worst we have ever seen. Actually when we saw the room, it was so bad we left immediately, walked across the road to another B&B where we got a room that you could actually breathe in.... more

We booked our stay over the phone having read some of the reviews on this website. We were a bit unsure as to what we could expect - having lived in belfast a while back I knew that the B&B had gorgeous flowers outside but that was all. Our first impression was that the place was old but clean and... more
