I would not recommend Botanic Lodge to anyone. The place is old, dirty and in a very poor condition. The girl that helped us seemed nice, but wasn't very interested. This is absolutely true, no need to embelish -We usually research where we stay but on this occasion went along with a recommendation from a local. Good, clean. Staff really nice. Some rooms noisy on Botanic Avenue, but good location has some bad points sometimes. Not many en suites, but I was happy enough to share the clean bathrooms. Much better than previous owners from 2006. Old, but nice. Lovely Breakfast. more
