Have stayed sveral times at the Belfast Malmaison. It's well worth a look - not the cheapest certainly, but check their website for offers, such as the current 'Stay 2 nights get one free'. The dark, often black decor off the hotel & rooms may not be to everyone's taste, but I think it works well. Was initially put in... more

Recently stayed at the Malmaison Belfast and could find no faults. The decor during the day is bit dull but at night the place becomes so relaxing... candles, dimmed lights and great music. Our room was great, we got a really good deal and for this we thought something would have to be scarificed but nothing was. Had cocktails in... more

I really dont know why there are some bad reviews on this hotel, you really just cant please some people!!! Anyway... our stay was perfect from start to finish. The staff were excellent, friendly and very efficient. We ate in the restaurant and took advantage of the local menu, its 13.95 for two courses... we shared a starter, had our... more

Stayed with my girlfriend for a trip whilst in Northern Ireland for a wedding. Hotel was excellent - very trendy and clean. Room also had SKY TV - including the 3 Sky Sports channels - a god-send if you're a bloke or (like my missus) you're both into your rugby, boxing etc etc Anyway - immaculate hotel - REALLY GOOD... more

Had a tasty dinner before going to a concert in the Waterfront only a short walk away. Will go back and take advantage of the Sunday night stay for 10 pounds if you have dinner for an amount in the hotel. more

I recently stayed over in the malmaison and to be honest i was extremely disappointed with the hotel in general. I am a regular visitor to belfast and normally stay in Ten Square (which i advise you to stay in rather than the malmaison) but decided for a change i would try the Malmaison after hearing good reviews, i researched... more

I've stayed here a lot on business but have decided I never will again as am fed up of their billing and the attitude of the reception staff. They've billed me wrongly so many times. This including taking a minibar charge that I didn't incur directly off my account without permission and sending the bill to my home address. In... more

I was visiting Belfast for one night and was very impressed with the service at the Malmaison. Staff were friendly, polite and extremely efficient. Nothing was to small for them to attend to. They allowed me a late check out, the room service was reasonable and of excellent quality (amazing steak). They even organised a taxi to the airport the... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Malmaison, Belfast - we had only planned on staying one night but ended up staying a second night as well! The rooms were lovely as was the bar, food, etc. but it is the staff who make this hotel superb. From the girl at reception who checked us in & out and allowed... more

Everything is painted black!! Reception, bar, bedrooms. It's very gloomy. If you like goth you'll like this! Lost a pint of guiness in the black bar and a black marble counter!! However, will add that the hotel staff are great, and the location for exploring Belfast is excellent. more
