We were lucky enough to stay here on our final night in Northern Ireland - it is very convenient to Belfast International Airport. We were a last minute booking - and were grateful there was availability. It is a really lovely home. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The shower was great! The owners were very nice and helpful... more

I have just had the pleasure of staying for 5 nights in what must be the best B&B in N Ireland, possibly the UK! The hosts were great, the food is outstanding and the rooms finished to a very high spec and immaculately clean. If you are on a diet, this is not the place for you as the portions... more

I have stayed two nights at the Killead lodge, both on arrival to Belfast and at the end of my trip. The second time, friends of Ray and Hilary took care of the B&B, as they do on a regular basis. I'm not used to speak so highly about an establishment, but I have stayed at large number of B&B's... more

After traveling for 3 weeks in Ireland and staying in 7 different B&Bs, no others could quite compare to this one. Hilary and Ray "went the extra mile" to make our stay so enjoyable. We liked it so much, we tried to stay an extra night, but they were booked up. No wonder! The house was beautiful, as were the... more

Well decorated, well presented overall & very handy indeed for the airport (no problems with flight noise, though). Nice comfortable room, slept pretty well but lots of creaking going on from floorboards and could hear doors opening & closing - sound proofing a definite issue here. But as a one night stay just before heading (early) to the airport, was... more

Spent two great nights and mornings at Killead Lodge. Truly, this place is the best of all possible worlds. It would satisfy the most discerning B&B lover with the warmth of the family welcome, the great conversation with the hosts, the lovely calm garden with the sound of rushing water (and the many outdoor cats!), the rural-feeling setting with a... more

We spent four days at this lovely home and were so pleased to spend time with Ray and Hillary. They are the most gracious hosts and made our stay very pleasant. The rooms are a very nice size and quite comfortable and the breakfasts were superb. They were 20 minutes out of Belfast but they recommended an easy way to... more

Killead Lodge is exceptional - the accommodation is extremely spacious and comfortable and the owners, Ray and Hilary, set standards that they would expect themselves. Any road or airport noise almost unnoticeable. Quality of breakfast excellent - no lunch required! Highy recommended. more

This house is close to the airport; I could see it from my window. I didn't notice any noise, though. The address is actually Crumlin, not Belfast. We didn't realize that and had no need for the airport. We were so exhausted after getting there, that we didn't have the energy to go into downtown which was about 25 minutes... more
