A great hostel, and Anne, the owner, is incredibly nice and helpful. The place is basic, but really nice :) Breakfast is not included in the price, but the kitchen is available.

You won't get a better place to stay with friendly owner who makes you feel at home. Location is brilliant for rope bridge, causeway, Bushmills and much more. The hostel is clean, tidy and has all you need to enjoy the stay. Have used the hostel many times and don't believe you will find any better!

I stayed in Ballycastle Backpackers in December. I was the only guest and the hostel opened especially for me. The friendly proprietress even lit the open fire for me. This is an amazing shostel! It is super clean, spacious, view of the harbor. and friendly. Ann Marie is helpful and very considerate. The place has a wonderful and comfortable sittling room and clean kitchen. I can't recommend this place enough. Stayed in the Irish cottage at back of hostel. This has 2 bedrooms both ensuite. Room was small but adequate and the whole place was clean and well kept. this place was clean but is in need of an up date as it looks very shabby with bed linen that looks straight out of the 1970s and i found it quite depressing. however, it's very cheap and as long as you don't mind not having your own bathroom and the plainness,then maybe it's ok. owner was a bit disorganised....
