Dundum is a superbly restored, elegant 250 year old house and farm with large, well-appointed bedrooms and some superb reception and breakfast rooms. The location amid rolling hills is magic, and is only a short drive from Armagh or Keady. Larry is a kind and thoughtful host who went the "extra mile". While at Dumdum, do have a drink at... more

My wife and I stayed here for 13 nights in mid September. This place was great. All of the things that you look for in a B&B were top notch: very clean and well maintained during our stay, the breakfast in the morning was ample and delicious, Laundry facilities were good, Internet was fast (only in the house though so... more

I wasn't sure what to think when my research on Trip Advisor told me that this place is a working farm. I can tell you that my travel party was hugely pleased! Larry was extremely hospitable, knowledgable, and really went out of his way for our group. The home is about a 15 minute drive to town centre and has... more

Very friendly and talkative hosts who were helpful with local information. They have worked hard to renovate it to a high standard . Breakfast was very good , room was clean and overall very good value. more

When my friend and I decided to go to Northern Ireland we searched A LOT for a great B&B. Our short list contained 2 places: Dundrum House and Dieskirt Farm. We opted for Dieskirt farm because it was close to the Antrim coast and Dundrum House lost out because it wasn't close to anything we were really interested in. We... more

Dundrum House is an early 18th century country manor house which is also a working farm run by the owners Elizabeth and Larry Nugent. The Nugents spent 9 years sympathetically renovating the house to a very high standard, retaining many original features. It has 3 guest ensuite shower rooms, 2 guest lounges, one with wi fi acces. In adddition to... more

We found this place randomly through searches online. The only reason we even went to Armagh/Tassagh was to stay here on our way back to Dublin. An 18th century manor is definitely the way to go! The room was very clean with two lovely windows overlooking the lawn. The hallways and common rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The... more

Booked one evening here as we were visiting local restaurant. Very comfortable room in a great house in a lovely setting. Liz and Larry are welcoming hosts and after a good breakfast in the beautiful dining room, we were shown around the self catering cottage which is a fantastic renovation job and is wheelchair friendly. Would definitely use this B... more

Having read the reviews here on Tripadvisor, I was pretty sure what to expect at Dundrum House and was also pretty sure it was my sort of place. And yes, Dundrum House lived up to expectations. It's a beautiful farmhouse located in lovely countryside a short drive from Armagh. We were warmly greeted on arrival, shown to our rooms and... more
