We stayed just for one night on our trip from Donegal along the Antrim Coast. We stayed at one of the apartments opposite the inn, in the building with the Domino's pizza. The flat was very big and even had a washing machine which was quite conveniant. However, there were no towels provided and the cleanliness of the rooms wasn't... more

We stayed in the Iona Inn for 1 night and what a horrible night it was! We couldn't open the windows because of the noise outside, but we couldn't leave them closed because of the bad smell in the room. To get to our room we had to enter next to the pub and our room was right above the... more

Arrived at the Iona and we were a bit apprehensive as we had to go into the bar next door. But what a smashing little place, the room was clean and spacious and breakfast lived up to the reviews we read, the staff really couldnt do enough for us. The manager even drove us to the airport!!!! Definately would recommend... more

We were booked to stay, but on inspection moved to the Tower Hotel. The bar was crowded with no visable entrance to the B&B. When we were shown our room it was cramped and smelly like something you would expect in a flophouse. The Tower Hotel was very nice in a perfect location. more

After reading all the great reviews here, maybe I had expected too much from Iona Inn. The staff were friendly, breakfast was great and the location was pretty good, only a short walk over the bridge from the Derry Walls and Tourist Information Centre. However, whilst the room itself was nice, the walls were paper thin and it was very... more

We stayed in one of the apartments opposite the Inn with a great view of the Craigavon Bridge leading into the city of Derry. The apartments are above a pizza shop but this did not impact our holiday other than trying to park the car at night, but even that was not a problem very late evening...........there was no noise... more

We actually stayed in one of the two bedroomed apartments opposite the Iona Inn, which they also own. Apart from one or two cosmetic improvements that could be made the apartment was great. the view from the living room window ( 3 windows, floor to ceiling, taking up 2 complete adjoining walls) over the bridge was fantastic, especially at night... more
