Since we only stayed 1 night and were only in the establishment to sleep and grab breakfast, Iona Inn fulfilled our needs. We booked through the Internet and have since learned it may be better to telephone with a list of questions before making a reservation. The only parking is a car park a half block away on the other... More

The Iona Inn is run by some very friendly folks who are happy to accommodate. Delicious breakfast and clean rooms en suite. Definitely feels more like an "inn" than a "B&B," but that's fine. Great location right by the Craigavon bridge. They have a really cool, chill pub right next door too. The only (minor) issue I had was that... More

Stayed three nights at the Iona Inn with a group of 10. Booked the two family rooms, which were very clean, ensuite toilet and shower. Room was large with three singles and a double. TV, tea/coffe making facilities and clean towels on a daily basis. Only downside was noise from traffic so ear plugs were beneficial due to the central... More

I've stayed in the Iona twice, on the recommendation of my friend who is a local. The location is great as it is a short walk to the centre and the staff were friendly. The rooms were basic but very clean and had everything that we needed. The bar next door is very cosy with a roaring fire. I would... More

This is a friendly no-nonsense B&B in the Waterside district (east bank of the River Foyle) of Derry-Londonderry, yards from the Craigavon Bridge and 10-15 minutes walk from the historic city centre. Rooms and bathrooms are basic but adequate and clean. Triple room option is especially good value. Gerard and the staff are helpful and accommodating. There are shops, takeaways... More

We stayed here for 3 nights at the flat situated above dominoes pizza. The flat is 2 floors up and on first impressions it certainly gave off the wow factor. The place was huge with a long corridor sweeping through to the livingroom/kitchen which is open plan. The views were awesome as you are 70feet up overlooking the river. The breakfast we received was... Very friendly staff in this hotel. Large rooms. Traditional pub attached to the hotel. Great! Only a few minutes walk into the centre of Derry. Also, just an hours drive to the Giants Causeway. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here with three children aged 10 - 16, and had lots of space in the 5 bed room. It was clean enough, and the facilities were fine. Breakfast was cooked to order with plenty of tea and toast. The shower was a bit dodgy, had to be operated from outside the bathroom. The major gripe we had was... More
