There's not much choice for hotels in Omagh so this was chosen by default. Pretty nice (expensive) Hotel, decor is light and modern and up to date which I believe is a recent addition. Room was fine, very clean. The food was dissappointing, just the regular meat and two veg ( veg overcooked of course) the menu tries hard to... more

An eight day business trip in one hotel is a daunting prospect. However my stay at the Silverbirch was very comfortable and relaxed. A brand new wing to the hotel has very recently opened, and my executive room was very well designed and comfortable (but this hotel does not offer views). Like (in my experience) many out-of-Belfast hotels in Northern... more

The Hotel itself was a nice surprise. We have never stayed in Omagh before but wanted to try somewhere different so why not there. Our welcome was pleasent and we were very pleased with our room, good size and clean with all a nice large bathroom. The bar was modern although I wish I could say the same for the... more

I have never stayed in a hotel in Omagh before and was very pleasantly surprised with this one. I come from the town so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I arrived very early and found the staff very helpful and considerate. I needed internet access and they went out of their way to make sure I... more

I checked in to the hotel after not being there for some time , what a pleasent surprise. The hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard and very chique. I was pleased to find one thing hadn't changed, the very warm welcome received from the receptionists especialy Louise nothing is a problem. The bar staff were hospitable, the... more

The hotel is clean, with very helpful and friendly staff and the Bar and restaurant looks so contemporary i could have been in a trendy bar/restaurant in London. Bedrooms clean and comfortable and a warm and friendly Irish welcome. 10 out of 10 to the hotel for food too! more

Stayed here whilst visiting friends in Omagh. It is a clean, well staffed hotel and in a perfect location for the town centre. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Rooms are of a fair/standard size and are very clean and comfy. Showers are piping hot. Any request was no trouble at all. Special mention to Andy the night porter,... more

I found the night porter, Andy, to be helpful and courteous. The room was a decent size and very clean. The atmosphere in the bar was well worth the trip to Omagh. The DJ was excellent, the craic was fierce and the bouncers were VERY friendly as well as attractive! We were glad we stopped in Omagh and stayed the... more

Whilst other reviews seem a bit harsh, I have to say that this hotel is not great at responding to complaints. Whilst taking breakfast, I had to endure the toilet humour of a Radio 1 DJ which was totally inappropriate for a hotel restaurant. I e-mailed my comments and was never afforded the courtesy of a reply. The room was... more
