Last minute accommoadtion in Aberdeen is very difficult to come by, and as a result it seems many propritors have little reason to give good service or value for money. My employer booked this for me. If this was the only option I would argue to postpone tthe trip.

The accommodation was poor, although [only] the towels were good. There was no 'en-suite'. The closest shower was broken. [One table light was not working.]

The worst feature was the noise; the room was below a food serving area and all that could be heard was a chiller compressor. I rang the management and there was no response to this issue. Manegement learned and took the phone off the hook. And in the morning it was denied as being an issue, inspite of it keeping me awake until 4:00am. And the rooms are not adequately double glazed against the airport noise. more
