Foyer of the hotel was very grand and there were no problems with checking in on arrival. Lift worked fine. Our room was on the second floor and was clean, comfortable and quiet. good points: i got a spacious room on the 4th floor which was quiet. the bar was ok, the breakfast was ok though with 15.75GBP somewhat overpriced. bad points: avoid the 2nd floor as it may get very noisy from the bar underneath. the rooms definitely need some refurbishment. no mininbar which is not acceptable for a 4star rated accomodation.... more

I've stayed here a couple of times on business and continue to be surprised that this hotel is on a 'preferred' list within my company.
