Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very central, clean hotel with friendly staff. Ask for a higher floor room with a view over the harbour. Lift to all floors. Clean, comfortable bed. Big shower with hair shampoo/ conditioner and body wash. Hairdryer and tea/coffee making stuff. Aircon and heating. I liked that we could open the window with a retainer. Parking voucher for discount in the NCP car park right next to the hotel. £12 per 24 hours. Very near to restaurants and pubs. Opposite Maritime Museum.

Hotel's Favourite
Everything about this hotel was great. The location was fantastic, near the shops and only a 20 min walk to the beach. All staff very helpful. My room was clean, bed comfortable and the best thing about it was the air conditioning!! Walking into my room to be greeted by a lovely cool wave was so good after being outside in the heatwave all day! Wifi was excellent and I had a good sized desk in my room to work from. Breakfast had a great selection of food. I would definitely stay here again when I next visit Aberdeen.

Stayed for two nights in January and it was an enjoyable weekend. The hotel was clean and accessible to the theatre via a short walk. Very close to union square for shopping and parking on site for a reduced amount at NCP. Breakfast was good value for money and friendly staff on standby to help when needed. Overall a good weekend.

Very superb. Their service was next to non.... I'm definitely coming back. The staffs and manager are very professional, they actually made us feel at home. Ibis Aberdeen is really a home away from home. The food was really out of this world.
