Two of my friends decided to get maried...and on top of that, they decided to get married in Scotland. Not being a wealthy guy, price was a factor and, unlike in the U.S., Guest Houses are the affordable way to stay in Europe. After a fairly brief search I came across Aberdeen Nicoll's Guest House at an unbelievebaly low rate, which included a full English Breakfast every morning! My entire stay was cheaper than two nights at the place where the wedding reception was held. My stay could not have been nicer. It was very clean and cozy and you really felt like you were a guest in a home rather than a hotel. There are two shared bathrooms, but both are very clean modern and never had to wait if we needed to use one. After a week stay, it felt more like I was moving out than going home.
