I was very disappointed in some aspects. From other reviews I had read I expected this B&B to be much better than it was. The owners were quite nice and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. However, there was great pressure to leave bright and early every morning becasue the rooms HAD to be cleaned. I have identified the authors of this message and they were indeed honeymooners, who on reflection would have been better accommodated in an hotel, if they wished to languish in their room until late in the day, which is quite understandable The awards for facilities and housekeeping gained by our establishment, have been attained by virtue that rooms etc. HAVE...

The Jays is surely the best guest house in Aberdeen. It is immaculate in every sense and Alice and George are excellent hosts. The tariff for this estalishment is super value for money all round. more

The Jays Guest House is a fabulous establishment. The hosts - Alice and George and fantastically friendly and helpful. The house is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts are to die for. This is a 4 star guesthouse and it merits every one of them. We will be back. more
