Eaten here many times but not good today. Slice of cooked onion trapped inside front cover of menu. Menus actually tatty and need to be replaced. Service very slow. Liver very overcooked and although we didn't have to pay for this meal, wondered why chef allowed it to leave the kitchen.

|n an (extended) lifetime of travelling I have never stayed in a hotel that has such a universally helpful and friendly staff. They allow you forgive the short- fallings in the room. I will stay there again, (in fact our conference has re-booked for next year). ..
