This hotel is in a great location and we had a good night stay here. The rooms are quite tired and could do with a refurbishment but are still functional. We did have a car and managed to park in the secured underground car park but there are limited places so car parking is not guaranteed. more

I stayed one night, booked by my company whilst attending a course in Aberdeen. Most of the guest were oil rig workers waiting to go offshore. Not meant in a bad way, I am one also. The staff were fine, hotel corridors and lifts need a bit of TLC, I stayed in room 409, it was large enough and comfortable... more

Its central, its cheap but it noisy - double glazing the rooms woul help. The entrace is very odd off the street in the lift or up the stairs to reception not at all welcolming. The whole hotel looks as if it needs a good revamp it just looks tired. The rooms are big and seemed to have been cleaned... more

I was extremely worried about staying here after reading all these reviews. We had booked a night here long ago as part of a touring holiday of Scotland with a dog. Let me say first of all that the satnav actually took us to the hotel garage - which was BRILLIANT as we would never have found it otherwise I... more

Don't see what all the fuss is about, it's not that bad! It might not be 5 star quality or service but your staying at a travelodge so what do you expect! I understand why people are bothered by the noisy bus stop outside but i dont think you would be bothered by this if you asked for a room... more

The staff are the only good thing about this hotel: Lifts not working properly, corridor lights flickering, the room had stained carpets and sofa, no toiletries, small thin towels and no bath mat. And this has to be the noisiest place in Aberdeen; Buses passing until very late and starting again very early. Also must be on the route to... more

Stayed in this hotel for a hen night - perfect for this type of break - cheap, large rooms, bang in the centre of town. (2 mins from train station) . But not the cleanest, a bit shabby, not enough towels, not a single extra like shower gel, hairdryer etc. The shower was ridiculous - far too strong with only... more

Just returned from my second work related stay at this hotel. On arrival at the hotel the street entrance isn't too inviting. The windows are dirty and once in the hotel the public areas aren't any better. Its looking very scruffy. The lifts are currently being replaced and one of the two was out of action - this didn't cause... more

The Travel Lodge Bridge Street Aberdeen is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Aberdeen was full and my company found me a room here. What a nightmare! It was a warm week in Aberdeen last week but the hotel had no air conditioning. "Open the window" suggested the receptionist, but the window was open to try... more

Having read some of the other reviews after I had booked the hotel, I was a bit wary. Plus the fact that my experience of the standard of hotels in Aberdeen to date has not been positive. The hotel was within easy walking distance of the railway station which was good. The entrance frankly is discouraging as it is an... more
