Stayed one night in this lovely old house and was greatly impressed by the standard. Beautifully clean, well-decorated - a real mansion !!! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - 100% Scottish which is quite rare these days !!! There is a cosy bar which offers reasonably priced bar meals. Okay, didn't actually stay at the Fife Lodge so no comment on the rooms but we did have an evening meal there and it was terrific. The staff were very friendly, the prices were good (drinks were typical hotel prices, eg. high!) the ambience was great and the food was really, really good. We just stayed the one night at the Fife Lodge. On the road out of town but well signposted. Very friendly staff, large room but bit tired in places. Lovely dinner (bit pricey) and great breakfast. more

I had a three course meal here in the evening and it was just amazing, out of this world best meal I've ever had. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. more
