We stayed here for one night during a touring holiday of Scotland. The hotel was fully booked (this was a weeknight rather than weekend) - most of the guests were business travellers either working locally or passing through. Our room was number 7, up on the second floor at the front with an ensuite bathroom (shower room, actually). The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable.
Not all of the rooms have ensuite facilities, but we were fortunate to get one as we booked a good couple of months in advance.
We ate dinner in the bar with most of the other residents - they were watching the footy on widescreen TV. We chatted with the owner about the local fishing industry and with one of the other guests. Dinner was just a roast beef dinner, followed by apple studle with custard. No other choice, but it was great food and inexpensive - dinner and pud was a tenner.
We'd stay here again if we were back up this way.
