We stayed at the old shooting lodge in april, the welcome we received was very warm, we were shown to our en suite room after passing through the beautiful lounge area, where you can sit and read or watch tv.

The room was decorated and furnished to a high standard, more like a hotel than a B&B.

The breakfast was a real treat with lots of fresh fruit, cereals and a full English cooked breakfast which set us up well for a days exploring.

I would not hesitate to recommend the beautiful and peaceful retreat to anyone visiting the area.

The owners are great folks, nothing is too much trouble, the whole house is immaculate, we will be back soon. more
