My husband and I stayed at this hotel in 2004. Sorry to write the review so late. When I saw that this hotel was not listed for review, I just had to get this up. I was not really sure where to stay so that my husband could play golf at Cruden Bay, and I could explore the Burrels and Slains Castle (the supposed inspiration for the castle Dracula). We arrived late that evening, and our host was super about it. He had a very thick brogue, but we understood all that we needed to. Our room was huge, with a massive king bed and a view out our room of the golf course which was to die for. Breakfast was delicious, and we lounged on the sofa in our room until we headed off to golf and sightsee. Everyone was nice as could be, our room was large and comfy, and the view was amazing. You still got the old world feel of the local town though. We will definitely stay again!!!
They also have the only resturant in town, but we didn't stay long enough to have dinner. If it is anything...
