A very friendly, family run hotel with just a great bunch of guys working there. The bar and dining room was filled with "locals" probably because the food was excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel grounds were a knockout. We will be back! more

Fantastic food (when it came) and beautiful grounds, but rooms shabby and old. The hotel is apparently under new management who may not be suited to the hospitality industry! Most members of staff were fantastic, but one man in particular (owner?) was rude, abrasive and obnoxious and nearly ruined our weekend. Just the place for a relaxing break. Meals were excellent. The staff was very friendly. The gardens are beautiful. Rooms were comfortable and very quiet at night. more
