34 Canmore St. B&B owned by Horsburgh couple - must have found it thru visit scotland site...3 nights to explore family roots & historic sights nearby. No car parking except out of sight public lot, no problems, but not ideal. Somewhat disappointed in accommodations for the price. Host very knowledgable to local history, interesting stories, agreeable service & willing to please, clean, comfy room. Probably wouldn't chose again. GREAT meal at Castle Club on High St which has green doors & up several stairs. Delighted with meal, the pint, service & price. Found the locals humorous, friendly, like most Scots whose company I've come to appreciate & seek. Forfar is a nice town to base from. more
