After shopping for and visiting a few hotels and BNB's in and around Campbeltown, I found the perfect getaway- the Oatfield house. Worth a visit just for the beauty and history of the house and surrounding landscape, staying there was a real treat. Clean, quiet, and very comfortable are descriptions that come to mind. We only stayed for one night, but it was thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms are very nicely furnished, and the bathrooms are large and new. There is a very nice sitting room with a fireplace for relaxing in the evening, and the home cooked breakfast was fantastic. It is located just a few miles from Campbeltown. more
