This is a large guesthouse, so it lacked the personal touch that you would find in a smaller B&B. We are a family of 2 adults & 1 child. We stayed in a large family room, which had lovely views. The room was large & beautifully decorated & the welcome tray generously filled. Two of the single beds, meant for children were lumpy & sagging in the middle. The television in the room was broken. The room had not been cleaned & everything was covered in a thick layer of dust. We needed to leave early in the morning (7am) in order to get the ferry to the Isle of Islay. Breakfast is only served from 8am. There was no offer to put some breakfast cereal out for us before we went & we were still charged the full price for bed & breakfast (£70), which made us feel as if we had been ripped off. more
