Nice hotel with friendly staff. Excellent food but a possibly a little pricey. We had a bedroom with fantastic views over Loch Fyne and beyond but it rained continually whilst we were there. Nice bedrooms with spacious bathrooms but need to change those old grey portable TV's for flat screen type which look so much better. more

We were immediately made to feel very welcome. We had a loch view from our room which was much better than anticipated. Very fresh, with large sitting area and massive bathroom. The bar was cosy and comforting after a very long journey. We ate in the lounge rather than the dining room as no other guests staying. This was better... more

First off - we miss our rooms. Our group was diverse - my mother is 92, 2 sisters late 60's early 70's, hubby and I early 40's. Our highlands trip was for my mom, who wanted to see where her ancestors had originated. This was a homecoming of sorts-there are simply no words to describe the sense of welcome and comfort... more

We booked a room at the Creggans Inn during our honeymoon. When we were only about 10- 15 minutes away, we came up to a road closure due to a land slide on our route, which meant that we would have had to drive around an extra 2 hours - in a circle! We called them twice on the re-directed... more

This hotel is a gem. Really friendly and efficient staff, large comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, and a faultless setting on the banks of Loch Fyne. I really relaxed there. We were too late to book a loch view room, but do go for one if at all possible. If you can't, don't fret - there is a big public drawing... more

We stayed here at the start of August 09 for one night and found it to be a well run hotel with great views. We paid £50 in total for the room and a cooked breakfast for two through Laterooms. We also paid extra and ate dinner here which was lovely, and afterwards played pool in the decent sized bar... more

This hotel is comfortable and full of character. The food is delicious and the couple who run it are helpful and very friendly. I stayed with my mum and cousin. The rooms are very nice and the bathrooms decorated in a bright, fresh way. The hotel is a long building and there are quite a few interesting corridors and steps... more

We were staying in a local holiday cottage in Strachur. Had dinner here in the Loch Fyne Restaurant. Limited dinner menu, but absolutely first class meal. Also first class and friendly service. more

We booked up here as we were going to a concert at a local hall and there was not much choice in the area. At £89 B&B, it was more than we had hoped to spend but we saw the good reviews and thought it would make a nice treat. The hotel occupies a stunning position at the loch-side with... more

Stayed 2 nights. Lovely room overlooking Loch Fyne, huge bath - feet didn't reach the end. Food was delicious - went for the £70 DBB option which was excellent value Scallops, langousines, home made bread & chocolates, appetisers brought to us in the bar. Sylish decor and comortable furnishings. Rooms spotless. Lovely owner. Highly recommend. more
