Have just returned form a two night mini -break with my husband and young son. Best thing about the hotel - the spa (swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi). Swimming pool was 4 feet deep and warm, so ideal for a 2 year old with arm bands! Worst thing about the hotel - the set menu for dinner. Mediocre food,... more

This is one of the worst three-star hotels we have stayed in and we're sincerely surprised that the AA have concluded that it warrants three-stars. Despite its location beside Loch Fyne and close to the delightful village of Inveraray, it is far from restful. Although our room was pleasant and clean, and the public areas are well decorated and attractive,... more

20th October. Just returned from 3 nights at this disaster. Only good aspect is the Lesuire centre and that the staff are pleasant. Arrived, Receptionist on the phone too a friend,5 mins later advised room not ready(2.45pm). Went to the Bar ,music too loud, bar men throwing empty bottles in to a bin from a distance with accompaining crashing noises.Returned... more

Thank you for your Trip Advisor comments. I have spoken to the receptionist on duty and she was on the phone to a colleague. I am sorry that you were not prioritised, this matter has been discussed with the individuals involved. We are looking into the “Laundry in the corridors” comment. We are buying some storage containers to keep this...

Just returned from an overnight stay at the Loch Fyne and I was glad it was only a one night stay after having to sleep in possible the most uncomfortable, creaky bed in the World! My boyfriend and I were looking forward to a relaxing short stay and had booked a 'superior' room expecting it to be comfortable. We were... more

Well so much to say so little space! I think you should sack your accommodation manager, the room was barely clean, the towels looked liked they been thrown at the bathroom rail from a great distance, I wasn't actually sure if they were clean on first inspection. I had to wear flip-flops in the shower so I didn't have to... more

Just returned from a 3 night break at the Loch Fyne Hotel. Upon arriving, first impressions were of it's spectacular location and building. Having booked this back in June, I had requested a ground floor room (if poss.) due to my wife being 6 months pregnant. Unfortunately we were put on the top floor, accessable by a dodgy lift and... more

Thank you for your Trip Advisor comments. We try and deliver all guests requests for rooms. However, unfortunately this does not always work out for various reasons. The lift is maintained and serviced regularly, and we have not had any issues before with this lift. However, we will monitor if from now on. I am glad to here that your...

My wife and i have just returned after a three night stay, we found that the hotel was excellent, the staff were a mixture of Scts and East europeans, all were very helpful and extremely pleasant. The room although being quite compact was clean, modern and had all the facilities we needed, the standards both in the dining room and... more

We expected the weather to be very mixed and we weren't disappointed. That's why this hotel is so good. The area is beautiful when the weather is fine, but when it's not so good the lovely spa is worth a visit. Our room was comfortable, although scottish beds appear to be a lot firmer than english ones. We ate at... more

I would just like to say how much my husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa. The hotel is ideally located with great views over Loch Fyne and at the edge of Inverary. The staff were very friendly and, despite being very busy, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The... more

Booked this Hotel through Easybreaks. I had read all of the reviews about this hotel on trip advisor after I had booked. To be honest I was a little apprehensive having read some of the reviews. it was my wife's birthday that week so I wanted it to be a good experience for her. Need not have worried. Room 307... more
