The worst guest house I've stayed at I'm afraid. The continental breakfast is a portable fridge placed outside the bedroom door containing low quality cheese, ham, fruit juice etc. which you eat at a table in the bedroom. The host appeared to be disinterested in us as guests, which is most unusual. We are used to being made to feel very welcome. On returning from the town on our last night there was a note telling us to vacate the room by 9.30 the next day- no please or thank you. On the positive side the place was very clean and in a good state of repair. Excellent power shower. Shower room & toilet is private but not en-suite and you have to walk through the hallway to get to it. The walk into town is about 15 minutes. It is a hike to get back though because of the hill. The place has potential, but there is no welcoming feel. The owner appears to deliberately avoid guests. I know you can't expect too much for £17 pppn, but other places far exceed here I'm afraid. more
