I was in a 4 bedroom with 3 other friends. The room and facilities were very clean, and the staff very friendly. The communal room is very cosy with a big fireplace. There's a big kitchen and everything one needs to cook a decent meal. I only stayed for one night but I really recommend it!

This hostel is hard to beat thanks to its prime location (a block away from the Harbour) and its friendly, youthful atmosphere. I stayed in one of the dorm rooms - it was very clean and comfortable, the staff were very helpfull, and with a basic breakfast included in the price (£15 per night) it was excellent value. I'd definitely go back.

Backpackers was a delight to stay at, very homely feeling. The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. I would recommend backpackers to anyone. The services a received were great. Will be staying here again when i travel to Oban again.
