I'm sorry I didn't catch the girl's name, but whoever was on the front desk when we checked in at around 3pm on Thursday the 26th November was a great first impression - very helpful and very nice. Maybe I expected too much. It was our first break together after having a son in May and I wanted to give my fiance a little trip to reward all her hard work over the last year. I booked a surprise romantic weekend break for my sister's 25th Wedding Anniversary at the Oban Bay and Spa Hotel. As you can imagine they were both over the moon and excited about their weekend break The hotel delivered everything they could have asked for locaton, food and staff were excellent. Prehaps if the management of this hotel spent more time organising the redecoration of the bedrooms and some cleaning of the bathrooms instead of replying to Tripadvisor comments they might have a better hotel. I imagine the more expensive rooms are in a better condtion but should you really have to pay that much more just for a clean, well... more
