The old part of the building has a small number of rooms that look over Oban bay & the isle of Kerrera, but the majority of the rooms are to the rear of the hotel (woodland behind the hotel) in a 1960/70s extension. The hotel was clean and fairly well appointed. Breakfast selection was good and service was quick. A friendly welcome. Rooms were made ready early for us and were of excellent quality. Super king size bed very comfortable, bathroom top facilities. Top floor room, excellent view. So basic I couldn't wait to leave. Nothing terrible just nothing really great. All the parking taken by the staff. Elevator that should be condemned. Just a low rent hotel in a town that should be passed. Very clean and the foreign staff was very nice. more
