We always now stay here when we visit Scotland and enjoy every visit! Donna seems like an old friend not someone's b&b we stay at! We stayed in January and bizarrely got the room we were hoping for; it had been updated since we last stayed in it with the bed in a different place which was great and all... More

I fealt I had to write this review after reading one of my fellow countryman's comments on the lack of bed space. I can only say that being on the wrong side of 280lbs myself and having seen all 5 rooms available, I did not see a bed that I would not be comfortable in, and the memory foam mattress... More

I can't say nice enough things about Donna, the owner/hostess. Hospitality well above and beyond expectations. The building is quite interesting, and what Donna has done with the interior is lovely. Breakfast couldn't be faulted. The price of the room was so cheap that we actually decided on paying a few pounds extra, we felt it was only fair. If... More

We were staying at the Bank as part of my fathers 80th birthday, while attending the rugby. The Bank was very helpful before we arrived answering all my queries, recommending where to eat / booking the table. Having accommodation with a door straight onto the main street and the access to come and go as we please was fantastic. The... More

We received a very warm welcome from Jennifer, who was looking after The Bank in Donna's absence. Our room was fantastic, and breakfast was delicious! Very good value for money, highly recommended. More

From the minute we arrived at the Bank Guest House, we were made to feel so welcome. We were blown away when we saw our room. Beautifully decorated with our own bathroom which was huge, with a lovely bath. Walk in closet was huge with fluffy white dressing gowns cosy to curl up in after a nice hot bath. Hospitality... More

Donna is an absolutely fantastic host. She made us so welcome from the moment we stepped out of the car. The room was clean, comfortable and massive. We loved our stay. More

We were travelling with three small children (inc 16 month old) for a family wedding and stayed for four nights - Donna was so friendly and helpful, the rooms were gorgeous (we were with other family members) - breakfast was top class (even with little menus ;)) and all the little touches made it a really pleasant stay. Carpark is... More
