I took my mother for the night as part of her 70th birthday celebrations. Staff great, rooms were clean and toasting hot, a friendly hotel. Location ideal just step out to the shops. Hotel staff are very the friendly. The atomosphere is relaxed and the rooms are spacious. Old-fashioned but a good choice of place to stay in Melrose as it is not as expensive as most of the hotels there. Beds were very comfortable and good breakfast. more
