Stayed at this hotel for a wedding and considered it an absolute rip off, the cost of a room is £180 per night, however if you were feeling generous you should only pay £90. The rooms are shabby and need a complete refurbishment. In addition you have the feeling that the staff were trained in Faulty Towers. more

We had read mixed reviews of this hotel and weren't sure what to expect but it was excellent. It is a little worn at the edges - don't expect modern hotel standards (ie. the usual brown leather sofas and no atmosphere...) but it is all the better for the faded country charm.
