Probably our most interesting and most talked about stay during our 5 week travel in Europe. Whitestone house is a former Manse built around 1892 and is in a wonderful location on the edge of this town of 8,000 people.

Our host was Mrs Muir and she certainly provided some entertainment for my wife and I. This lovely lady was in her mid 80's and had a difficult time coping with her busy B&B and many times her guests felt like helping her. Our room was small as are most rooms with the exception of one. They all have a shared bath (there are two full baths in the upstairs). Our sheets did not fit the bed properly and our waking moments were filled with attempting to wrestle that elusive sheet corner from each other. The sheets also were so thin, we believe they are now being used as veils in Arabia!
The towels are dried in the outdoor sun and stiff as boards and rough as nails.
