ventured out of Edinburgh for a weekend away and took the precaution of running a few possible locations through Trip Advisor. Caddon View looked like a pretty safe bet so booked for two nights in a delux double. Arrived at 7.00pm to a very warm welcome and in time for a quick freshen up in our stunning bathroom before heading... more

We stayed at Caddon View with friends for weekend to celebrate 40th Aniversary. We all enjoyed our stay very much. Lisa and Steve made us all very welcome. The rooms were lovely and comfortable food was delicious and very well presented. We could certainly recomend this Hotel to others. Hopefully we will be back. more

We enjoyed our stay at Caddon View. The room was very nice, the breakfast was terrific and the hospitality was wonderful. It was a little expensive compared to other B & Bs we had stayed at during our holiday. more

A very comfortable base in this part of Scotland. Very stylish rooms and welcoming hosts. Food is of high quality at both dinner and breakfast. The young waitress could have been better trained - would forget what you asked for, but that was the only slight negative in an otherwise excellent dining experience. Not cheap by any means, but you... more

Victorian period mansion house, extensively re-furbished makes for a pleasant and unique stay. The owners Steve and Lisa are very friendly. The single room I stayed in was very cosy, but with a nice big bathroom. Would highly recommend. more

We stayed overnight at Caddon View to break our journey home from the Scottish Highlands. The B&B is at the edge of Innerleithen, a large village between Peebles and Galasheils. It is an old house packed with period features, and has been well restored and furnished. Lisa and Steve are very friendly hosts, with lots of information on hand, including... more

We stayed here one night when cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats. Very good for cyclists. Although a 'guest house' this is really a small, luxury boutique hotel, but with the advantage of being run by two lovely friendly people. A warm welcome, attentive yet unobtrusive hosts. Lovely rooms and in particular our bathroom was amazing! Breakfast was delicious... more

Steve and Lisa are fantastic. The warm welcome that they gave two tired, grumpy, jet-lagged Americans was very much appreciated. The food was great. Anything that we needed was provided for. The location is smack in the middle of an area rich in history and other activities. My wife especially enjoyed our side trip to Dunbar, the birthplace of John... more
