Joe & Zan Kirk are great hosts and The Byre is very well located for exploring Dumfries & Galloway which offers so much to see and do and is a much under-rated part of Scotland. There were 7 of us staying ( 3 adults and 4 kids ) and we all had plenty of room. Everything that one might need is included, the quality of the fittings and fixtures is "top notch". There are complimentary bicycles & a great wee games room with table tennis and pool. Low Kirkbride is a working farm and we enjoyed watching the "Belties", sheep, horses, ducks and chickens etc. In summary, a great week in a great place ! more
