The carpets were filthy - I kept on a pair of socks and wouldn't walk anywhere in the room without them. The room I was in (no 5) seemed to be the junction of water pipes and was incredibly noisy, the loo didn't flush properly and the shower cubicle leaked so I had to be careful when stepping out that I didn't slip on the wet floor. The mat stuck to the table at breakfast, one wouldn't use the cups in her room because they hadn't been cleaned from the last occupant and another had cobwebs in the shower stall.
